- 3 lbs. Lean Hamburger
- 2 Cans of V8
- 2 lg. Onions, Chopped
- 29 OZ Can of Tomato Sauce
- 1 TBSP of Allspice
- 1 TBSP of Garlic Powder
- 4-5 TBSP of Chili Powder
- 1 TBSP of Cumin
- 2 TBSP of ACV ( Apple Cider Vinegar)
- 2 TBSP of Cinnamon
- 2 TSP of Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 OZ UnSweetened Chocolate Baking Square ( I have substituted for Cayenne Pepper Dark Chocolate Bars or Sea Salt Dark Chocolate )
- 1 1/2 TSP Sea Salt
- Tabasco Sauce to taste
Directions to make:
Use about 4 drops Tabasco sauce, In an 8 quart pot, combine hamburger, and onions; Let simmer all ingredients for roughly 30 minutes.
Then add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 2 or 3 hours, uncovered as to not make to watery.
You can add more chocolate, cinnamon and allspice to taste as this dish cooks. Use your own tastebuds to judge your level.
This Chili is not to be spicy… it should be Savory and slightly sweet.
This Recipe is the ultimate, Its not your normal kick you in your but chili either. The allspice eliminates your normal upset stomach, and the slight hint of sweetness is a refreshing difference to your run of the mill chili.
Personally I like to serve over spaghetti noodles, (al dente) with some diced onions and a little shredded cheese. (3 way chili) Some prefer over a bed of rice as well. either way I think your sure to love this one as much as we do. So enjoy.
