Crescent Roll Stuffed Taco Loaf Bake
The flavor and inspiration of this Bake is that of Indian Fry Bread and Tacos. Which if you have the time and Recipe you can certainly substitute for the real deal. It’s an easy peasy recipe, that’s actually a good one to get the kids involved. Believe me everyone will be asking for more.
- 3 cans of Crescent Rolls
- 2lbs of Hamburger Meat ( You can add Chorizo)
- 1 can of rinsed Black Beans
- 3 Packets of Taco Seasoning
- 1 bottle of Taco Sauce
- 1 package of Mexican Cheese blend (or your choice of cheese)
- 1 diced Onion
- 1 diced Bell Pepper
- 3 head of Shredded Lettuce
- I container of Sour Cream
You can also add diced Jalapeño and sliced Black Olives or even Spanish rice.
Directions to make:
First you are going to want a greased or non stick cookie sheet pan, next open your Crescent Rolls and place on cookie sheet pan, interchanging the rolls to match each other leaving little to no holes. Make sure to leave edges off the side off cookie sheet pan.
Next creat a mixture with your cooked hamburger meat with seasoning, black beans and some cheese, and some onion and bell pepper. Now add you mixture to the middle of your crescent rolls on the sheet pan and start folding the crescent rolls back over your mixture. (It should look like a loaf at this point) Sprinkle top with some taco seasoning and paprika.
Place in oven for 10-12 mins at 375 degrees, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
Serve in slices with options of rest of veggies, sour cream and taco sauce.
